Kirkwood

So even though we haven’t been in Fallon long, it’s time to get the heck out of dodge. We were fortunate enough to be invited to spend a weekend at the cabin in Kirkwood with Sceett, his parents and brother, Dan, and another family. The weather was perfect spring skiing conditions: sunny and clear in the mid 50’s with enough snow cover for snowshoeing or downhill skiing. Justin and I have never gotten to downhill ski together despite being together for nearly 5 years. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed downhill skiing for two days and I only have one bruised hip for my efforts. Justin isn’t bruised anywhere if that gives you any indication of his abilities. (Watch out blue square runs, here we come!) On day 3 we went on a snowshoe with Sammy (she LOVES the snow!) before driving the 2 hours home to our trailer.
