The journey of a thousand miles starts with Frappucinos from Starbucks.
We have officially begun the adventure of the Clinical Year. We drove up to Spokane, Washington Saturday morning after seeing Meghan F Goff off at the airport. We stopped to see James and have lunch for a couple hours in Pasco. After stuffing ourselves full of Philly Cheese steak we retreated to the couch to take the stress off our stomachs. We got to see James' new rig and showed him ours. After relaxing and watching Rambo, we were back on the road. About an hour outside of Pasco, due to a slight miss-communication we almost ran out of gas (I didn't tell Blair we had switched to the reserve tank) . Luckily we were only 5 miles from a small town where we topped off both tanks and got something cold to drink.
We made it to the elks lodge, pictured below, and met some wonderful people (who had chili lights hanging around the outside of their RV!!).
And, most importantly, at the Elks, the first drink is on the house for all visiting RV'ers! After getting the Trailer set up, we went to Fred Meyer to stock up on sundries and vittles.
Sunday, after a good nights rest, Blair dropped me off at the Greyhound station for the bus ride back to P-town. As I was riding the bus, Blair was busy being super productive getting the rig taken care of and prepping for her first week in prison :)
This wraps up the first edition of BJS on the road, more to come soon!
